KARIN'S BIO
Karin Bardarson, aka Karin Blaine, is a lover of words and live performance. She performed for many years as singer-songwriter, Karin Blaine, throughout the PNW and greater Boston area with her compelling songs and dynamic shows at popular festivals and clubs. Her music has been featured on KUOW, KBCS,WBUR/Boston and KBOO/Portland. In recent years she has focused on poetry and essay writing.
As an artist Karin strives to connect to the beauty, power and pain of being human in as original a way possible. If she makes your cry with a poem or laugh with a song - she feels she has succeeded in her mission.
She is the author of Here in the House of Love, an online website of her personal essays, video and poetry located @ karinbardarson.substack.com. Her essay, Forget About It, was recently published by Yale University Press in a collection of essays and poems called SUBSTANCE. You can listen to Karin Blaine's music on Apple Music and Spotify.
